The Journal of Automotive Technology and Education

The Journal of Automotive Technology and Education (JATE) is a new open-access, peer-reviewed journal serving the needs of scholars, researchers, educators, and practitioners from automotive academia and industry. The National Association of Automotive Universities (NAAU) is producing the JATE for the dissemination of original high quality refereed scholarly papers in the multidisciplinary fields of:

  • automotive technology
  • automotive management
  • and automotive education

The JATE seeks scholarly contributions reporting both qualitative and quantitative original research articles from academia and industry. Papers for publication in the journal are selected through rigorous peer-review, to ensure originality, timeliness, relevance, and readability. JATE may at times also publish shorter concern/experience/reflection essays, research in brief articles, and technical notes that promote insightful understanding of the fields and discipline.

The JATE is an open-access journal. This means that articles are free for users immediately upon publication which provides the widest possible readership. The JATE and the NAAU regard free access to high quality peer-reviewed publications as essential for the development of the global automotive technology and education disciplines.

This is an open call for papers. Review of submissions will be ongoing. As a new online journal, JATE is in the process of obtaining an ISSN and is not yet indexed. However, these will be sought in the near future.
